Anyone had 'inactive ovaries' become active again?

Just that really, had scan today showed normal size right ovary small left ovary no follicles on either, uterus healthy. Told ovaries are inactive.
Im 38, wondering if any chance of them becoming active again or if im on my way to menopause? I already take hrt for symptoms, but continue to have regular bleeds.
Thanks in advance

Not entirely sure. Mine have but they were forced into am artificial temporary shutdown during chemo when I was 38. At 41 I had our dd so they definately woke up again.

If yours have naturally reached that point can you speak to a gynae consultant for a more precise opinion. And if you hope to conceive what if anything can be done to stimulate your ovaries into working.

Gentle hugs, hope you get skme answers x
