Mini pill and breast feeding a baby boy

I delivered two wonderful twin boys three weeks ago and am breastfeeding. My doctor has placed me on the mini pill with an appointment arranged to get an implant in November.

Everything I see online states its safe while breast feeding though a small amount of progesterone enters milk.

I'm wondering if the female hormones can damage my boys in any way?

Ask you doctor!

Ask your GP. But I very much doubt he would have prescribed it if there was a possible problem.

Congratulations! No it's fine but if you're worried you could try the mirena.

Check the breastfeeding network website; iirc it's the combination pill that is a problem as it affects milk supply.
