Hey everyone,
Just a little back story, I suddenly started feeling numbness in my breast and I felt a lump, my friend however did not, but I went to the dr and she said she felt to lumps and has given me an urgent referral for it to be checked out, if it’s an urgent referral does it mean she suspects it’s bad?

In my experience, they always refer urgently with breast lumps. I had one that once I got to the doctor was becoming more and more obvious a cyst or a boil that was about to
pop so nothing sinister, and the doctor agreed but still put in an urgent referral in.

Any lump should be referred to the 14 day cancer pathway. The vast majority are nothing to worry about.

Hi not wanting to hijack your thread but I have a lump and an appointment today to get it looked at, I have a thread going about it! But past times I have been with the lump I haven’t been referred anywhere can I insist today that I am?
