Anal Skin Tag

I have Crohn’s disease and have had an anal skin tag for a while. It’s large, it’s ugly and makes me feel so insecure. So I decided to band it. It started going kinda black but today it’s yellow.... now I’m wondering if it’s infected? There’s no pain at all. Just the change in colour has me wondering. Has anyone ever banded or tied off skin tags and tell me what the colour change should be like?

Eeeek. I'm not sure how wise that was, but it's done now. You need to be very careful because infection risk is high.

There is a long running thread in here about anak skin tags and surgical removal. I'll see if I can find it.

Maybe you should show your doctor before it gets any nastier.
