Spotting really worried

Was wondering if anybody has experienced the same. I'm 42 with regular 28 day periods , my last period was on the 24th July and two weeks later I started spotting. Initially I put this down to ovulation bleeding but it's been 4 days now and I keep spotting On and off! This is stressing me out big time !! Is this perimenopause ??
The past month has been really stressful too with work , I've lost weight and put on weight and been travelling ... hoping this is the reason...
Does any have experience of this too I'd be really grateful for some advice ?? X

My sister is 42 and was having trouble with spotting and bleeding. She has been told she is perimenopausal after visiting a gynaecologist. It might be worth a visit to your doctor. Are your smears up to date? I wouldn't worry too much though, sometimes these things just happen x

I have this its like 2 periods every month
My blood hormone levels are off, so worth getting yours checked
Mine is ovulation - huge spot, check. Ovary pain, check!

I had this and it was endometriosis.
I did have some other symptoms though
