Hi Applecider2, I'm 18 months into terrible hair loss. The consultant dermatologist I saw said the only thing that works - and then in only 30% of cases - is Regaine. That's for alopecia, which he diagnosed in me. However, when I bought it, the list of side effects terrified me and I've not been able to bring myself to start using it. You say it's working - is your hair coming back in? My partings are getting wider and wider, and my hair line is getting higher at the front, and there's a lot of thinning on the crown. It's really upsetting, especially as I was a bit vain of my thick hair, now it's thin and stringy and it's just a matter of time before it all goes. Are you not getting any side effects from the Regaine? How long have you been using it for? The consultant said all the lotions and potions, supplements etc will not bring hair back.
