Endometrial ablation

After years of having pcos and horrendously heavy periods, I finally have an appointment for an endometrial ablation at the end of next month.
Has anyone had this done? Were you in pain afterwards? Any bleeding? I'm having a General anaesthetic as a day case, how many days did you take off work?

I was sterilised when I had mine so I had stitches but there was no bleeding really just some discharge.

You should recover quickly this is not too invasive

I'm just wondering how many days to tell work il be off for. I'm a bus driver for local council and lift/ load/strap people in wheelchairs on and off my bus. I know I'm not allowed to drive for 48 hours after but was wondering on the pain/bleeding etc. Fingers crossed I'm the same and get through it easily x
