Worried something is wrong

Since the start of April I’ve been bleeding heavier/ more painful and more regularly (2 weeks break in between periods, if that and my cycles used to be 35 days long) im also 3 months late for my smear test because of this (constantly bleeding or spotting pretty much making it hard to book an appointment)- I have been to the drs about this and they’ve given me the mini pill, I’ve been taking it for a good 3 weeks and I am still spotting and bleeding.

What can I do? I’m constantly crampy and I’m worried something is wrong but they can’t do my smear until I’ve stopped bleeding and spotting.

Should I call the drs and request a different sort of test? I’ve been getting what feels like baby kicks and I am not pregnant! My youngest is 2.5 and the sensation of phantom kicks was long gone before they started again, around the time my period issues started.

Please help 😩

I have but they’re making me wait until I’m fit to have a smear test 😩

There are other thing they can test for without waiting for your bleeding to stop. I was like this before my early menopause, surely they could do some blood tests.

They took bloods but it was just to check my iron levels, which are low.
