I'm nearly certain that the dr that put me on norethisterone (5mg three times a day for forseeable future) while I'm waiting for the hysteroscopy which will hopefully sort my constant bleeding out once and for all, told me that I wouldn't need to use any other contraceptive while taking this dosage. The gp had previously told me I would need an alternative.
I'm just panicking and questioning my memory now that I've finally felt comfortable enough to dtd with dh after months of not being able to due to the bleeding/fear of it coming back. I've tried to contact the dr and am waiting for her to get back to me so thought I'd try the powers of MN to see if anyone has had this before.
Now that we've finally dtd I've also now had my first bleed in months 😔but I'm hoping that'll just settle now. I'm up to date on all smears etc and have been scan poked and prodded down there medically several times in the last few months.
