I am full of anxiety about my symptoms

Two and a half years ago I got the copper coil inserted. Pretty much every since then I’ve had spotting between periods. I assumed it was due to the coil.

It continues each month and something made me a bit concerned this month. Thinking is it definitely the coil? I have made an appointment for a GP today and later today I’m having it removed in the hope that the symptoms stop and it reassures me.

I just checked my coil strings there and I can feel a lump on my cervix.

I’m worried. .

I’m due a smear test in about 6 months but last one was all clear (about 2.5 years ago).

Just to be safe I'd book in to see the go and explain what you felt. Best to get this kind of thing checked sooner than later x

Smooth bump? Most likely to be a harmless and very common Nabothian cyst, or maybe a polyp. Try not to worry (easier said than done, I know). Best to get it checked.
