Acne around period

I've started getting quite bad spots around the time of my period or the week leading up to it.

I've had the odd spot all my life but never this many in one go, and these seem like painful bumps that last for ages. Bit concerned about scarring - any advice or anyone had something similar?

I've suffered with hormonal cycle related acne my whole life. Diannette or Lucette are the only things that cure it...
