Sorry for TMI but I'm on the toilet completely miserable. I have recurrent UTIs but at the moment I have a horrible new symptom and I don't know what to do....It's like the inside of my wee tube is itchy and the only thing that lessens the insane itch for a second is weeing...so just like a normal UTI but instead of intense pain it's intense itching! It's also mildly painful and I have the usual needing to go feeling. I have just started a new course of antibiotics for utis that I have in the cupboard but I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing? It's like the crazy itchiness of thrush but inside my bladder and urethra. I don't know what to do to relieve it and I don't know if antibiotics will help or make it worse. Any thoughts? Can you get thrush in your urethra?
