LUMP FOUND IN VAGINA - TERRIFIED

Hi all,

I'm 53 years old. Had discomfort during intercourse the other week so went to the GP last Thursday. Upon examining me she found a "tied" lump inside the vagina. I had blood tests the following day and I've just received a call asking me to attend a hospital appointment this Thursday - the referral was marked urgent. Needless to say I'm absolutely terrified it's vaginal cancer. Does anyone have any experience of similar.

No, but generally we are all lumpy and bumpy and it's usually not serious. In this case, you are getting seen quickly so if there is anything to worry about it will be dealt with promptly.
