Going crazy with this constant pain!

I am writing this to see if anyone has hd any similar experience because I feel like I'm getting nowhere.

I had my little boy 2 years ago. All was fine with my healthy up until just over a year ago, I really started to suffer with pain in my hips back and lower pelvis ( ovary region)

The pain in what feels like my ovaries was always about 10 days before my period and settled down once it arrived. This went on for months so the doctor sent me for a scan to rule out fibroids or cysts. That all came back clear ( this was last April)

This issue never went away but did dull for a little while. I've been back and forth to the docs and they referred me for physio and said my ovary pain was probably hormonal and I should try going back on the pill. I've been on the pill now for 4 months and still really no let up a couple of months I had one good month where hardly any pain but now it's back and more painful then ever feels like a scratching or sharp pain this alternates from left to right or sometimes both at the same time and I keep getting the off pain in my ribs ( this is something new since I've seen the doctor last week. doctor said continue with the pill for a bit longer and the physio and see if it makes a difference.

I'm at my Whitt's end with this I constantly have to sit with a hot water bottle every night. 😢

Has anyone ever experienced anything similar

I hope my post makes sense

Thank you x.

Has your doctor mentioned the possibility of endometriosis? Might be worth looking at the symptoms online and seeing what you think, but if it sounds like a possibility you could ask to be referred to a gynaecologist.

Sorry to hear that you are suffering like this, I also get pain in my pelvis, hip and back and it really gets me down. Take care of yourself.

Thank you for your reply. My doctor hasn't mentioned it no but it's something I have mentioned to her and she said it could be a possibility however she said the pain I experience would be worse during my period and this isn't always the case but I do have a lot of symptoms of it. I'm sorry to hear you suffer too. Xx

If other things aren't working it is probably worth asking for the referral. GPs are not always that knowledgeable about the detail of all conditions, which is to be expected based on the huge variety of issues they see, but hopefully by seeing someone more specialised in that area you may get some more answers to either rule it in or out.
