Lump on vulva and pregnant

I posted a few weeks ago in the pregnancy section that I had a mole on my vulva (the bit with hair?) went to doctors they said it was a mole although she didn’t seem to know what she was in about. I wasn’t convinced and after googling it - said it could be vulva cancer so freaked out. Today it seems to have filled up and some blood has come out of it so really stressed it also feels sore. I’m 29 weeks pregnant. worried it’s something really bad. I have been wearing pads every day this year which also makes me sore. It’s a dark purple ish colour can anyone reassure me before I go back to doctors next week as struggling. Xxx

Could it be an infected hair follicle OP? I had something like that. But i did get it checked by the doctor and she was lovely and said I did the right thing getting it checked. Do go back if you’re worried.

Could it just be an infected spot? Or a boil type of thing? Please don't stress! Thanks

Maybe try and see a different doctor if the first one didn't fill you with confidence OP? Hopefully it's nothing Thanks

Could it be a tiny varicose vein? Its quite common i think to get them in pregnancy- they look like a little blue/black spot?

I had one similar checked and was told it was hormonal linked, it changed throughout my pregnancies and after. It might be nothing to worry about but I’d get seen by a specialist as they will be able to tell you quickly and reliably 😊

I had something similar, I got an Abcess caused by dyi hair removal. Except i couldn’t see around bump very well. Needless to say having to have that thing removed under limited local anaesthetic was very painful. I did get to bite down on something. Bloody hell, birth was easier. You have my sympathies if you have to do same thing. X

Btw my next baby I didn’t give a damn about hair removal, it wasn’t worth the risk.

Just to add a bit of reassurance, mine went away on its own after a few weeks Smile
