Mirena coil removal causes depression?

Tillie1976 · 01/07/2019 10:24

I have had the mirena coil since my last child was born 9 years ago (removed and replaced 4 years ago) Last week I had to go and have it removed and replaced again as it was due, so I had it removed but not replaced as it was a very painful removal this time around and did not want to go through that again and it was about time my partner did his bit and got a vasectomy! Anyway back to my point, since the removal I have felt awful, nausea, depression, lethargic and just generally feeling like poo, has anyone else felt this way after having their mirena removed?

Hi there OP,

We hope you don't mind, we're going to move this over to Women's Health. We think you might get better responses there. Flowers
