Pelvic exam under anaesthetic (EUA) - help

Hi I am on the list waiting to have a pelvic EUA due to pains and extreme tightness and bleeding outside menstrual cycle. Having it done under General anaesthetic which is first time and very nervous. Just want to know if anyone has had this done or has knowledge of what it will involve. How long will procedure take and what checks do they actually do. I am self conscious and scared of being naked down below having legs in stirrups and strangers touching and seeing my private parts. Any advice or thoughts appreciated.

Hey, so sorry you are going through this. Have you discussed your concerns with the consultant?

The team will be able to explain how long the procedure will take.

Remember this is your body and if you choose not to go through with the procedure and want to cancel/postpone you have that right.
