Worried sick, retained tissue or new pregnancy

I can’t believe it’s now June and this has all been going on since March! Had a termination on the 2nd of May, had the tablets and it was pretty straightforward (please no judging. I really struggled) I was due to take a pregnancy test on the 30th May and call back if it was positive. It honestly was the most faintest line. You could barely see it. So I left and on the 7th of June so just over a week later my period arrived! Pretty normal period and I’m glad my body is getting back to normal (until now) So today I had some brown blood. Period not due for another 9 days. Not loads probably needed a panty liner for it and it’s stopped now so probably lasted an hour. I randomly and I don’t know why decided to take a test. And it’s faintly positive. Surely it’s too early to test for it to be a new pregnancy? And with retained products I would of thought I would be in pain / bleeding heavily and wouldn’t have had a period. I’m in no sort of pain but now I’m really worried that I’m pregnant or again or I have retained products. HELPPP

See your gp and fgs get some reliable contraception

Superscaredx · 22/06/2019 22:48

I am on the mini pill thank you very much! But I’m feeling rather paranoid since what happened so I’m worried I could be that 1% it doesn’t work for.

You dont have to explain the the above poster, or anyone, why you needed a termination or what contraception you were using. Your body, your choice.

For the question you actually asked, noone would be able to tell you, wither wait a few days and take another test and see of the line has progressed, or see your gp for advice.

I hope your ok, and I hope you get it sorted with the outcome you want Flowers

The mini pill isn’t that reliable
