Right so I’ve had problems since July 2018, it started the month after my first smear, which I’m assuming is coincidental.
So from July 18 until March 19, my periods were only last 2 days.. very light & a little painful but nothing severe, but I almost missed 2 periods in that time frame.
In March I had my review on my contraceptive pill, so I mentioned it to the nurse and she said to take 3 packs of pills back to back and it’ll sort of sort the system out. So I thought ok...
The following week, i experienced severe and I mean severe pain, in my pelvic region and the pains went into my back, I felt like I was going to pass out. The only way I could describe is like contraction pains, they would come and go, and id have to breathe through them. 3 days later I started to bleed, even through I was only 10 days into my first packet of pills.
Then the second packet was fine normal periods.
Started the third packet all seemed fine then 3 weeks ago, the pains came back again but even worse, I thought I was going to be sick and my vision went blurry and I had to lay down bearing mind I was in the middle of bathing my kids. The following day I came on my period AGAIN! So I booked an app with the doctor, I had an internal done, swabs taken and had lots of different blood tests. Swabs and blood test results came back fine.
So my doctor sent me for an ultrasound, awaiting results, should get them tomorrow.
But I bled for 13 days straight. The 13th day being very heavy. I came off on Mon this week, had sex last night for the first time in a while as you can imagine and afterwards it was burning really bad! And hurt during it.
I woke up this morning and I’m bleeding again.
Does anyone have an indication of what could be going on? Doc doesn’t seem to have an idea at the moment.
Sorry if TMI but hoping someone has had something similar and can help me out.
