Reoccurring thrush

I am really at the end of my tether. I had thrush for final few months of my 2nd pregnancy which after a couple of treatments cleared up. I then had it pretty much throughout my 3rd pregnancy. After 3 bouts of 5 day meds the doctor told me if it was low level and bearable just to live with it and it would go away once baby was here and my hormones calmed down.
Baby is now 9 months and I have had low-level thrush most of the time. Normally it isn't bad (very mild discomfort, almost not enough to notice) which gets uncomfortable the week before my period, then after period it generally feels like it has gone away until the next month. But it is killing my sex life! If my husband and I ever do actually DTD it flares it up and I have 'proper' painful/ uncomfortable thrush and I have to go back to the doctors... I am not on the pill so we use protection so it isn't a care of it being re-transimitted to me.
Basically, has anyone else been like this? Is there something else the doctors can do? Are there natural remedies thst help? I have already stopped using bubble bath, got feminine wash for the shower etc. Feel like I am going to spend the rest of my life like this!!

@sonlypuppyfat Oh really? Well I am definitely up for changing anything that might help! So do you hand wash your undies in boiling water? X

Well I the end I had to buy a new machine and put them in on 95 , I wouldn't do this with pretty lacy pants , I buy plain cotton

I'm going through the same. First thrush last November when I was pregnancy. Then 3 times either right before or after my period.
It may be coincidental that since I became pregnant I stopped handwashing my undies and then started to experience the thrush. Will try washing my undies by hand.
