Pessaries - increased discharge?

Hello all. I’ve never used pessaries before so not entirely sure what’s normal...

I’m on a 14 day course of pessaries for thrush. I seem to be getting lots of discharge, and it (TMI!) gushes! I just feel it go! The discharge is always very much full of bits of pessary.

Is that what happens?! I know our vaginas are self cleaning... so I guess it’s doing that?! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Obviously pessaries will dissolve and find their way out through the vagina. The fourteen days will soon be over and so will the mess.

It’s less that, and more the ‘gush’!
