When to worry about late period ..

My periods have always been irregular - before giving birth my cycle was anything between 20 and 30 days.

I had my DD at the end of 2017 and breastfeed until of 2018. My periods returned at the end of the year and they've still been v irregular but I'm now on day 45 and no sign of a period!!

I am definitely not pregnant so I wanted to see if anyone else had had this and when to see a doctor? I'm wondering if it's still things calming down from finishing breastfeeding although it has been six months!!?

It can take quite a few months to get back into a properly regular cycle after breast-feeding. If still irregular periods in a couple of months then maybe visit a GP?

@KitKat1985 thank you! Guess that because I was v irregular before it's maybe got worse after breastfeeding! Just wondering when it's going to turn up??!!

Missed a period for 4 weeks before. Went to the dr and they actually said they don’t worry about it until you’ve missed for 6 months! I think it depends on the area but my Drs certainly didn’t give a damn

@Karigan195 that's interesting! Day 60 now and still nothing?!
