Early 40s, on pill. About 4 times in the last six months or so I have bled for a few days in the middle of the pill packet. This month i bled solidly from a week before the packet ended, through my 7 day break and then for 4 days into the next packet. I saw the gp last week who didn't seem particularly concerned but said she would do an examination when I finished bleeding so I have booked that for a few days time. Prior to this I have never bled outside of a regular and normal period. I don't particular suffer with PMT and had a normal smear about a year ago although have had abnormal ones in the past. Any similar experiences or outcomes. I swing between not caring about it at all and putting it down to being 'one of those things', and panicking that there's something more serious going on!
