Need some advice! Been prescribed the mini pill as I have been suffering painful heavy periods ( flooding, large clots etc) for many years now really. Had scans etc and have a small fibroid but advised to leave alone. Been taking mefemanic acid amd does help a bit. My worry is over the last few years my cycle has shortened from approximately 40 days to 24 - I'm 43. I also suffer with spotty skin and I have quite fine thinning hair. So ... is the mini pill the answer to my problems or is there a better option for me. Didn't feel particularly listened to at doctors so left feeling non the wiser! Many thanks
