Late period, husband has had a vasectomy

Hi I'm 5-6 days late for my period. I cant e pregnant as my husband has had the snip 10 years ago. I'm a little worried on why I havent come on.

I'm 32 years of age

Has anyone else had this? And help would much appreciate it

Could be lots of reasons - illness, weight loss, early menopause

Very, very rarely sperm can find their way, vasectomies are extremely reliable but not 100%

Have you done a test to check/rule out pregnancy?

Once that's done go to docs next week

Everyone (almost) has a late period now and then. But if you're normally totally regular, don't leave yourself in this uncertainty for the sake of a £6 pregnancy test.

Do the test, then either do or don't worry about it, whichever is appropriate.

Thank you for replying. Nope havent done a test as yet. I'm pretty worried to do one really but know it has to be done.

I have had all the signs of coming on my period like bloating, "period" pains but just no period.

Think I will need to get a appointment at the doctors next week.

Why the dr? Pee on a stick first.

Do a pg test and let us all know immediately A close relative of mine fell pregnant with her third child, 10 years after her husband's vasectomy. It's more common thsn people think!

Yes get a test today and do it, at least you'll know

Thank you all for your messages, I did end up coming on my period THANK GODDNESS I got a test but didn't need to use it in the end, as I got the test in the morning and then my period come on a couple of hours later.
