Hey,
Since giving birth to my son back in March 2018 whenever I have sex with my partner I get extremely bad pain in my vagina, swelling, burning, and occasionally bit of blood, it is so painful, I have tried to soothe it with cold water, hot water nothing works until but it just disappears a few hours later. Has anyone else experience this after child birth? I tore and had stitches which resulted in me getting a perineum haematoma, my main concern is I am 21 weeks pregnant and the thought of a natural birth whilst I am experiencing this pain is making me very worried,
Thanks for any advice you can give!!

Ps got a doctors appointment Friday, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this

Hi, I had bad swelling when giving birth, lots of tearing and quite a lot of stitches. Took me ages to heal but after being discharged from the midwife nobody ever checked and it took me ages to realise our wasn't normal. Sex was painful when I wag pregnant and for ages afterwards. Ecuador I went to the gp and got referred to a gynae. He said the scary tissue hadn't healed well, tried steroid creams but eventually had another episiotomy and was restitched properly. It's fine now.

I don't know the impactof being pregnant but well worth a consultation with a gynaecologist I would say
