Period 15 days early?

Cycle length is usually 33 days however on CD 17 (which was yesterdsy) I started passing dark blood with slight blood clots, and today it has been a little heavier anf went through to my underwear which required me to wear a pad. Has anyone had this before or had any advice? It is super light now so very strange, yesterday didn't seem like period blood at all but today was a bit more convincing until it started becoming really light again.

Thanks for any advice

Bumping this as I'm having similar, except it's 10 days early and the first day was very light but today it's a little heavier, almost mimicking my actual period. I'm always very regular, never any "surprises" so it's a bit weird to be honest.

I'm really similar, the first day was really light then the second day was heavier then it stopped. I've seen people talking about implantation bleeding but it doesn't seem the same as mine. If you get any advice please let me know!

I started a thread about this too, but so far no responses. I'll let you know if anything is said, but it's all very strange to be honest, this has never happened to me before and I don't quite know what to think of it. Confused

Do you think there's any chance you could be pregnant?

Sorry, didn't see that you replied. I honestly have no idea. I take my pill religiously but there's always a chance. I've been advised to wait and see if I get my "normal" period, and even if I do, to do a pregnancy test 2 and half weeks (or so) later just to be safe. I also spoke to my mum and she said it's nothing to be worried about, it's happened to her before and it could be something hormonal. Overall, I'm just waiting to see what happens with my normal period and then will see after that, although if I don't get my normal period, I'll pop to the doctor.

I was planning on doing the same as you, I'll wait until my period was actually due and take a test xx

Good luck, I hope we're both fine hahaha xx

Skye1234 Just to let you know that I got my normal period at the normal time, so all should be absolutely fine. My mother went to see her doctor so I asked her to have a word on my behalf and the doctor said not to worry at all, it's all fairly normal and I should go and see her if it happens again. Don't know if any of this is relevant to you, but thought I'd let you know. Hope all is well! x

I have had something similar and wondered if it could be the perimenopause, which apparently can start at age 40. Will be speaking to the GP soon.
