I had one about 8 years ago (cystocele). Every now and then I get what I can only describe as a sharp tearing type of pain like something is ripping in my pelvis (bladder/womb?) and I'm wondering if it is to do with this and whether anyone else has had it? It happens sometimes when I stand up or turn over in bed. My other condition I have is endometriosis so could it be adhesions otherwise? Any comments appreciated.

Did you have mesh by any chance?

Thank you so much for replying. I don't think so as my bladder prolapsed but I didn't have a problem with leaking so my understanding is he stitched my bladder back up. I often wonder if what I can feel is the stitches pulling, even though it was so long ago.

I think some surgeons use mesh to support the bladder, regardless of leaking. It would be worth finding out as it can cause pain as you describe.

Speaking from personal experience I have had a repair 5 years ago and don’t get any pain from it
