coil Am i protected

Hi all 🤗
I had the coil fitted last tues two days after period and I protected or will I still get pregnant it’s the Mirena coil many help would be grateful 😳

Depends when you plan to have sex. NHS says:

If it's fitted in the first 7 days of your cycle, you'll be protected against pregnancy straight away.

If it's fitted at any other time, use additional contraception, such as condoms, for 7 days afterwards.

Hi 🤗 all I had the coil fitted last Tuesday two days after my period am I protected or will I get pregnant it is the Mirena coil and any help would be grateful 😀
