Hormonal causes for irregular bleeding

I've to go for a hysteroscopy & endometrial biopsy in the next 2 weeks. Dr. said that if nothing is found that's wrong, then it's hormonal and there's nothing that can be done to treat the issues as I can't take the pill or use the mirena coil (what he had suggested).

I forgot to ask him whether a hysterectomy would be an option.

Would anyone know if they would offer a hysterectomy in the case of unresolvable hormonal issues?
