I went back on the pill about 4 months ago. I'm overweight so was prescribed Cerazette. I was initially given 3 months to see how it went and told to get a repeat for another 3 months if all was ok.
When the initial 3 months ran out I meant to call to the docs surgery to have another script written but I was busy and though it would just be a day I'll get it tomorrow and take 2 together. However I found out the next day that I need to give 48hours notice and so I was without it for 4 days. I didn't take them all together but just began taking one a day again.
All going great until 2 weeks ago when I went the loo and there was some spotting when I wiped. This went on for a few days... it was only there when I wiped and seemed to taper off as the day went on. Then it got a bit worse. I've now been lightly bleeding for almost 2 weeks now. I also have a sharp (at times) pain in my left hip since the bleeding started. The bleeding has gotten a bit worse again this morning and I didn't take my pill last night as I'm thinking of coming off it again to try stop the bleeding.
Has anyone had this before? Am I doing the right thing by stopping. The bleeding is driving me insane.
Oh I meant to say that I haven't had a period since starting cerazette.
