Brown spotting followed by heavy period

I’m a bit worried about this.

We are ttc, month 4 now.
I had brown spotting, only when wiping about once or twice per day for the 5 days leading up to my period. Was obviously hoping it was late implementation.

Anyway. I don’t know when exactly I ovulated last month, I tested 3 days and it was negative for all 3 so I thought maybe it was earlier than I thought. I was working nights so I thought maybe that messed it up..

Going back to this week. The brown spotting was followed by my period, a day late. It has been normal-ish. However I woke throughout the night to change my pad as I could feel the leaking (sorry tmi). This is normal but I woke again and needed to change again. When I sat on the toilet I heard a huge clot hit the water and when I wiped there was a lot of blood with small clots. I’ve noticed the small clots the last few days when I wipe.
I poas loads leading up to AF and all negative so I’m confused. This isn’t normal for me at all.
I’m not having bad pains though...

Am I overreacting?
