After smear today the nurse said it looks like I have cervical erosion. Just wondering how if anyone else has or has had this. Done a quick google and I am scared!
I have had no symptoms, no bleeding, not pregnant and not taking the pill

I have it and it isn't anything to worry about. It isn't cancerous, it's just some of the inside of the womb popping out. Try not to worry x

I've had it and had a small cauterisation to stop the spotting I was getting from it. They're harmless though so I wouldn't worry.

I always had this before I had my hysterectomy. It's very common, totally harmless and nothing to worry about. My gynae actually rang the GP that referred me and berated them for the inappropriate referral!
(Hysterectomy done for reasons unrelated to my cervix)

I have this, I get no symptoms at all and it's nothing to worry about. My smear also just came back normal too. Stop worrying as a lot of woman have it hun
