Combined pill without a break

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has been advised they can take the pill back to back now (based on the NHS guidance from Jan 19). It's just dd is on the pill as she was very ill during periods and she would rather take it continuously but when we went to the nurse last month, she wasn't happy that she'd missed some periods and prescribed it with a break. The nurse suggested the new Sanaya injection but I know they don't always stop periods.

I suggested that she bypass the nurse and go to contraceptive clinic for her next lot. But she doesn't need them for contraception.

She's 16.
