Post lletz bleed- how long to feel better?

I posted earlier this week as I had a very heavy bleed 2 weeks post lletz treatment.

My gp advised that the scab on the treatment area had come off and caused the bleed. After about 13 hours of very heavy bleeding and very big clots it slowed to a light flow which is continuing.

My gp gave me antibiotics which I’m taking incase of infection.

2 days later I’m still feeling dizzy and foggy frequently through the day.

I’ve been resting, taking ferraglobin incase I lost iron and drinking fluids to replace these too and eating plenty.

I had a day off today and went to lunch with a friend but it wasn’t fun as I felt disconnected and dopey.

Any ideas on how long this might take to pass? Or anything I can do to feel human.

That doesn't sound right to me - I would try and get back to your gp.

I recently had the lletz procedure for polyp removal, and bar the initial bleeding, which lasted around 3 weeks, had no other after effects.

Maybe you do have an infection that the ab' s are not working for?
