First poster, last night I had no sleep for worrying and googling.
I stupidly got caught up in the moment and let my partner ‘go down’ sorry tmi - thing is he has a dried up cold sore that’s nearly gone. Can’t believe how stupid I and we were (before anyone goes in on him he also feels terrible) I’ve not even let him kiss me in fear of it for the days he’s had it. I feel awful and am stressing out just wondering if this had happened to anyone else and has all been fine ? Thanks x

I’d get to the doc tbh. They may be able to prescribe antivirals as a precaution.

Thank you I am toying with the idea of going to local sexual health clinic I’m so angry and upset with myself I don’t think I could muster the strength to speak face to face about it. From what I’ve read symptoms can show from 7 days so I think one would g pick up anything anyway

It’s done now so don’t be cross with yourself just concentrate on keeping you well. Whether gp or clinic I’d do something but I wouldn’t wait a week.
