I've got a problem. I used to have an amazing libido from my teens to early twenties. After I went on the pill, it gradually vanished. I've been off the pill for two years and nothing has improved. I don't think it's a coincidence. The 'fun' does not end here... My clitoris is now much smaller than it was pre-pill. There's only one scientific paper I found on the long-term effects of the pill on female libido, and it seems capable of permanently lowering the amount of free testosterone in women's blood (by increasing SHBG). I had a test, my testosterone is at the lower end of the 'normal' range and SHBG is quite high (not outside the range though).
Question - who knows any doctors based around London who will prescribe testosterone gel for a 30-year old woman with no libido? I've asked about Nick Panay, but he has a massive waiting list. Most doctors believe women's libido is some mythical elusive creature unrelated to hormones, unlike men's. I call BS.
Thanks!
