Recurrent Thrush!! Help!!

I went to my doctors after suffering from thrush for 3 months as no over there counter drugs were working.

The doctor gave me fluconazole to have 1 a day for 3 days and then to have 1 weekly for 2 months. I'm on my second weekly tablet and still it keeps coming back! It will go for a few days then return!

Anyone else suffered from persistent thrush and how long did it take you to be cured?

Is there alternative / stronger treatments? Or any supplements that may help?

It's really getting me down!

Have took had a swab taken to make sure it definitely is thrush?
If so then I discovered mine was down to loo roll! Just normal stuff, not scented or anything, but quite "dusty". I changed to the cheap ones (similar texture to service station napkins!) And touch wood haven't had a problem since.
