Hi
I really hope someone can help me.
For about 6 months I have had times where I've had unusual discharge and smell and I've put it down to bv or thrush . I'd use canesten or go docs and get antibiotics. The last time I went docs they did swab but tests came back clear no infection. I still took antibiotics as doc said if ended up being bv it would clear it. Yet again now I have had the discharge and now smell of what I believe is bv again. I keep getting this say every 2 months. I've changed my washing powder, I don't douche, I came off the pill last September. It's just getting me down as is this it for me- on antibiotics forever or what the hells going on down there with me, it's affecting me and hubbys sex life too. Sorry for long post but please help. Do I demand doc investigates further ( btw both me and hubby had full checks no infections etc)

I have no advise but I just wanted to say I sympathise as I’ve been getting the same problems. Had 5 lots of swabs taken in 3 years, most recently just under two weeks ago and they have all come back normal. It can be very embarrassing and puts you off sex when it’s bad

You would be better off going to a sexual health clinic, it's a one stop visit, you get your results straight away & the appropriate treatment.

But I've been to them clinics and I'm all clear . That's why it's a mystery and doing my head in. I feel like am I gonna be on antibiotics every few weeks and sex once in a blue moon 😢😢😢

Has the dr examined you with a speculum? I had a horrid smell once when I had a tiny piece of retained tampon stuck up there
