Implant and periods

I had the implant fitted on 8th Feb - 3 days into my last period. I was due my next period Monday just gone but so far nothing. I've had the usual cramping backache slightly low mood but no bleeding.

Would it be normal for periods to stop so soon? Does anyone on the implant have normal monthly bleeding? Or does it pretty much just always stop?

I had one long period for three months, then two weeks out of every five for the rest of the year. My friend's periods stopped immediately.

The implant tends to make periods very irregular. In my case I can go months without a period, or get 3 periods almost back to back. There really is no pattern.

I've never had a period on any of my 3 implants.
