Around 3 years ago I ditched contraception in preparation for TTC. From memory I had no issues. Used a fertility tracker and didn't fall pregnant until 4th month as planned.
FF to after birth. Used bf friendly pull for few months then back on to patch as before TTC. All fine.
Sex life not what it was so ditched contraception, favouring tried and tested fertility tracker. Now things get weird. My periods for the past 3-4 months have been weird. TMI FYI!!
From memory first period was full on blood from day 1,
Second period began with dark brown awful stuff followed by the above,
Third and currently on fourth, dark brown stuff during toilet wipes, hardly anything showing on CSP (certainly no need for a tampon), for a day, almost a day or two like the period is over (this is where I am now) followed by quite heavy blood but not worryingly so.
I'm confused as to why I'm getting this dark brown stuff, I used to get a bit of this at the end of my period previously but this is a substantial change to my periods pre baby and even while on contraception post baby. I had a smear done about a year ago, all fine. Could it be an age thing (almost 40) or could it be a sign of something? Just posting in case this stands out to someone who's experienced this sort of thing and throws up red flags??
