My youngest is now 11 months and I got my periods back about 6 months after having her. I stopped breastfeeding around 8 months.
Since they returned I have bled so heavily I'm going through the most heavy duty tampon every 1-2hrs! I am also suffering from really bad pmt. and quite bad period pain.
I do have polycystic ovaries so don't know if anything to do with that.
Just wanted to get others experience to understand if that sounds normal post baby or anything people found helped?
My periods were a little heavier after having my first but don't remember it being this bad and think was only like it for first month or two but has been almost 6 now.
I've made a doctors appt but I'm worried they'll just shove me on the pill which I'm not sure I want to do and also don't want to just mask the problem (if there is one).
