Mid cycle bleeding

I had mid cycle bleeding for first time over the summer. Scan was clear. Scanned again few months later, about October. Seemed ok. All settled though periods seemed quite light.

Last month mid cycle brownish discharge. GP didn't seem too worried as had been scanned before.

Suspect ovulation today and some blood again.

Never had bleeding at ovulation/mid cycle before the summer. Am 43. Hormone test in summer was normal.

Please can anyone share experience. Peri menopause? Something else?

Have private gynaecologist appoint next week anyway but am always anxious.

Also smear and Ca125 fine in the autumn.

I'm going through something similar but I've only had a blood test so far. I'm interested to see if other people have gone through simiar
