Does anyone know if taking antibiotics (Penicillin for 10 days) can delay ovulation and cause spotting? Happened to anyone else?
I think I recall having a weird cycle about 7 years ago after being on penicillin, but it was obviously a long time ago!
I’m on day 27 of my cycle and can tell that I still haven’t ovulated (I have clear symptoms) and have been spotting for the last week or so. I usually have a pretty regular cycle of around 34 days. I was on the antibiotics during my period and it was a little lighter and shorter than usual, so wondered at the time it I would have spotting at some point to flush out the remaining period blood!
Been very, very stressed and anxious recently so I know that won’t be helping!
