Painful big lump at back of vagina

I've been getting shooting pains for a while on the left side of my pelvis, had a scan a while ago which found nothing new, and put it down to my existing endometriosis.

Then yesterday at work I had such bad pain on the left side of my vagina, throbbing and aching, and it was painful to sit down. After feeling around last night I've found a huge painful lump at the back of my vagina (from googling, I've found that this is possibly the rectovaginal septum). And a smaller hard lump further up.

Of course it's easy to scare myself googling, (and I have), but from what I've found, most vaginal cysts are benign, although this seems to be an unusual place for an ordinary cyst. Rectovaginal nodules have also come up, which involves a horrible type of endometriosis, and these require extensive surgery.

I'm going to try to see a gp tomorrow, but in the meantime, had anyone else had a lump in this location? Also if you've had a rectovaginal nodule were your symptoms similar to mine? Any other insight very welcome. HmmConfused

I realise I'm probably talking to myself here, but still v worried. The GP felt them too, did an extra smear test and is sending me for a scan. He said probably cysts, so also put me on antibiotics in case they burst and get infected. But they feel too hard and protected by skin to burst. it's like they're behind a layer of skin at the back of my vaginal. He also found new polyps on my cervix. Trying to distract myself until I get a scan date. Has anyone had anything similar?
