Prolapse

I’ve recently been diagnosed with a suspected prolapse vagina (rear wall the GP thinks). She’s referred me to the hospital but appointment isn’t until mid-June! I’m really quite uncomfortable down below (especially when I cough) but I can feel bulging all the time. Does anyone know if it’s normal to wait this long? I know the nhs is under pressure and this isn’t life or death, but it really is affecting my quality of life.

Any positive prolapse stories gratefully received, as well as information about waiting times. If I do need an operation I guess it won’t be until later this year!

I have just ordered an expensive Kegel8 machine with the aim of maybe reducing the symptoms.
