The Copper coil

I’m looking to have my Mirena coil removed and hopefully changed for the copper coil which I use to have and reacted well too. Does anyone know if they can remove and change my coil in the same day? I’m having terrible trouble with my skin since having the hormonal coil.

I’ve had them swopped before. Copper one out and hormonal one in at same appointment.

I had the copper coil for years and it was great. Regular short periods (but heavy). No problems. After I had my baby I went to get a new coil and the nurse convinced me to have a hormonal coil in the hope that it stops periods however it’s now been about 7 months and I have terrible acne which I never had before! It’s actually painful and constant no break my skin is constantly breaking out. Definitely recommend the copper coil
