First time posting on here and really looking for advice or to attempt to settle my overactive mind!
I went to the doctors two weeks ago with sharp pain in my right breast and was referred to the breast clinic on Monday. I had an ultrasound where the doctor started taking measurements of a mass, then the consultant decided to a biopsy, I was told the mass was 9mm and exactly where the pain was coming from. I then saw the consultant that told me they scale from 1-5, one being nothing, 5 being cancer, and mine was a 3 meaning it could go either way. I'm now on the dreaded wait for my results and struggling with it.... has anyone had this and how long was it till you got results? The consultant told me that the longer I wait that's better as no news is good news?
