I'm not sure what is causing my bladder to not empty properly and currently waiting on an urology referral. It seems that my bladder contracts and stops the wee before it's finished and I'm finding myself having to press/massage my bladder to actually try and get all the wee out! I'm really quite worried as my grandad died due to complications from retention and although I know its very different for men, I am anxious.
I'm also on antibiotics at the moment for a uti which has made everything worse 
My bladder feels tender and I'm very bloated. I'm wondering if it might be down to digestive issues (I have ibs) or if it's a pelvic floor issue as my muscles don't seem to work properly sometimes. I've also had two c sections and am wondering if it's maybe adhesions causing this problem. All these issues seemed to start after having dd2 two years ago.
It can be really painful and uncomfortable and it's affecting my quality of life so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
