Strange Period. TMI

So I have PCOS. Not sure it’s related.

But my most recent period - the first day was extremely painful. Doubled in agony. Nothing really helped shift it.
My flow was very light.
And on the third day it was coloured purple.

I’ve got a GP appointment but does anyone have any experience?

Is there any chance that you've left a tampon up there from your last period?

Nope. None. I’ve not used tampons in years.
